Threatening voicemail escalates to arrest

:

In the early morning of Monday, February 3, a Troy woman was arrested at a Birmingham business on the 200 block of S. Old Woodward Avenue, after she showed up to the business and started threatening employees.

According to the owner of the business, the woman left a concerning voicemail saying she’d show up to the business in the morning the next day. The woman followed through and arrived the next morning to threaten several employees.

Birmingham police say the woman had a history of prior arrests in multiple other cities. She was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and intimidation.
