Employees of a local coffee shop, located in the 100 block of N. Old Woodward in Birmingham, ended their Thursday, March 12, shift empty-handed after someone took the tip jar off the shop counter.

An employee of the shop told Birmingham police officers that the jar was taken between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. that day.

Police reported there are currently no suspects, but an investigation is ongoing.
