Tire slashed at Birmingham high school

A vehicle parked at the Seaholm High School faculty parking lot had its tire slashed sometime on Thursday, April 29, Birmingham police said.

A Birmingham police officer responded to the high school about 4:10 p.m. where a 37-year-old man said someone had slashed the tire of his vehicle. Witnesses told the officer a vehicle pulled into the lot about 10:17 a.m. and parked next to the vehicle. The person could be seen slashing the tire, then leaving.

The victim told police the case may be related to a former domestic relationship.

Birmingham police are investigating.
