Tools stolen from locked construction site

Roughly $2,000 worth of tools were reportedly stolen over the weekend of Friday, September 12, from a construction site on the 700 block of Ann Street in Birmingham. 


The victim told Birmingham police that both doors to the site and the gate to the fence around the site were locked when he left that Friday. He came back on Monday, September 15, to find the gate still locked but both doors ajar and his tools were missing. 


Birmingham police state an investigation is ongoing.
