Township police investigate home break-in

Bloomfield Township police are investigating a daytime break-in that occurred sometime on Wednesday, June 9, in the 700 block of Brockmore Lane.


Bloomfield Township Police Lt. Paul Schwab said the homeowners came home about 4 p.m. that day to find the front door forced open and areas of the house in disarray. An undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry was reported missing.


The victims told police the break-in occurred sometime 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.


Investigators ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
