A traffic stop by Birmingham police on Sunday, July 12, ended a ticket for a suspended license and an arrest on warrants.

Police say an officer initiated a traffic stop after a vehicle failed to move when the traffic light turned green at Adams and Maple. The driver, a 79-year-old man from Bloomfield Hills, had a suspended license.

A passenger in the vehicle, a 42-year-old man from Bloomfield Hills, had two warrants for his arrest out of Royal Oak and was placed under arrest.
