Traffic stop leads to arrest for past warrants

While driving north on Adams from Maple Road in Birmingham, a city police officer saw a driver on her phone and pulled her over. The driver, a woman from Fenton, was found to not only be driving with a suspended license but had three outstanding warrants in Beverly Hills, White Lake and Oakland County.
According to Birmingham police, she was issued citations for driving on a suspended license and driving while using a mobile device and then was transferred to the custody of Beverly Hills Police.
