Bloomfield Township police, following a traffic stop on Wednesday, May 20, ended up arresting the driver for failure to have an active drivers license and for possession of a controlled substance.

At approximately 11 p.m. on May 20, township officers conducted a traffic stop on Telegraph Road near 14 Mile. During the traffic stop officers discovered the driver had a suspended driver’s license and was in possession of a controlled substance. Officers arrested the driver, Cristi Greenawalt, a 47-year-old-female. Bloomfield Township Police Department Detectives submitted a warrant request to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, which gave its approval.

Greenawalt was arraigned in front of 48th district court magistrate Richardson and was given a personal bond of $25,000.
