Trespasser with warrants given to Detroit police

:

Police officers from Birmingham were dispatched to a commercial construction site in the 1000 block of Haynes Street, after a construction company project manager reported a man inside the property without permission on Saturday, January 25, around 6 p.m.

Officers questioned a potential suspect walking next to the site and discovered that the 34-year-old Romulus man had five arrest warrants from various Wayne County law enforcement agencies.

He was issued a trespass warning and, at the request of the Detroit Police Department, was arrested and transferred to Detroit police custody.
