Two arrested for stealing items at Target store

The Bloomfield Township Police Department at 4:51 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, was dispatched to a retail fraud in progress at Target, located at 2400 S Telegraph Road, and two people were arrested in the process.

Two subjects, a white male and white female, were seen concealing items on their person. Officers arrived on scene and located the two suspects walking down the stairs past all points of purchase.

The officers made contact with the suspects and discovered several pieces of stolen merchandise, including a Polaroid camera, two boxes of camera film, two PlayStation video games, and two accessories for a gaming controller.

Both individuals were arrested for retail fraud second degree. They were transported to the Bloomfield Township Police Department where they were processed and released pending court appearances.
