Two arrested for stealing landscape equipment

Bloomfield Township police, along with assistance from the Troy Special Investigations Unit, arrested two men on Monday, May 15, who had stolen $1,800 worth of equipment from a landscaping truck and trailer in the area of Yarmouth and Cranbrook roads in Bloomfield Township.

Damondo Javon Anderson and Carlos Javon-Henry Cozart had taken three backpack blowers that belonged to a landscape crew doing work in the area.

The equipment was recovered upon arrest, and both men were charged with larceny by the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.

The two men were arraigned at the 48th District Court and each issued a $5,000, 10 percent cash bond. They are currently released pending court proceedings.
