Two arrested with stolen Target merchandise

Bloomfield Township police Thursday, August 13, were dispatched to a retail fraud in progress at Target, located at 2400 S. Telegraph Road, and two persons were arrested with stolen merchandise.

Two subjects, a white male and white female, were seen concealing items on their person, according to the police report. Officers arrived on scene and located the two suspects walking down the stairs past all points of purchase.

The officers made contact with the suspects and discovered several pieces of stolen merchandise, including a Polaroid camera, two boxes of camera film, two PlayStation video games, and two accessories for a gaming controller.

Both individuals, police said, were arrested for retail fraud and transported to the Bloomfield Township Police Department where they were processed and released pending court appearances.
