Two car thefts were reported last week by the Bloomfield Township Police Department.
On Wednesday, November 12, a resident came into the Bloomfield Township Police Department to report that her beige 2010 Chrysler Town and Country was stolen out of her driveway in the 3900 block of Cottontail Lane.
The victim stated that she parked her vehicle in the driveway on November 11 at 6 p.m. and discovered it stolen at 9:30 a.m. the next morning. The victim was in possession of both sets of keys for the vehicle and was adamant the vehicle was locked.
Then, on Saturday, November 15, the Bloomfield Township Police Department took a report of a vehicle theft in the 3200 block of E. Bradford Drive.
At approximately 5 a.m. that morning a 2020 white Ford Expedition was taken from the driveway. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys were inside at the time of the theft.
Taken with the vehicle were a set of custom TaylorMade golf clubs valued at $5,000. This case is currently under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit.
