Two-man brawl breaks out at Coney Island

Birmingham police officers responded to a fight in progress at Leo’s Coney Island at 154 S. Old Woodward on Sunday, August 28, arriving at the scene and making contact with the involved parties around 1:45 a.m.


Witnesses reported that the victim had been sitting in a booth when the aggressor, unprovoked, punched the victim multiple times. The two grappled before being separated by witnesses.


The victim sustained multiple marks on his face and nose, and the perpetrator was arrested for assault and battery.
