Two stolen and damaged vehicles discovered

A Birmingham police officer dispatched to the 800 block of Smith Avenue around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, on a parking complaint, discovered a running vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Warren.

Upon arriving on the scene, the officer also observed another Kia vehicle that had previously been stolen.

Police report that both vehicles had their front passenger windows broken, and the steering columns and ignitions damaged during their thefts.
