Umbrella stolen from Birmingham porch

A patio umbrella was discovered stolen Thursday, July 8, from the 300 block of Linden, Birmingham police said.

Officers said the victim, a 73-year-old resident, told them the umbrella was delivered sometime on July 8 when she was away from the home. She returned later that day and found the box ripped open and empty.

Birmingham police are investigating.
