Unknown substance damages vehicle paint

Birmingham police are investigating an alleged act of vandalism involving a strange substance that damaged the paint of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Yorkshire.

Officers spoke with the victim, a 27-year-old Birmingham man, on Sunday, February 27, who told them he found an unknown substance spread all over his vehicle a few days earlier. After washing the vehicle, the man said the substance left the paint damaged in several areas.

The incident is under investigation.
