Unlocked vehicle stolen during the night

An unlocked vehicle parked in the 200 block of Argyle Boulevard was stolen sometime overnight on Thursday, March 4, Birmingham police said.

A city police officer spoke with the victim, a 43-year-old resident and his wife, about 7:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The victims told the officer they parked the car in front of their home and noticed it missing just before calling.

Police said the vehicle was unlocked, but the keys weren’t inside it.

Officers attempted to locate the vehicle, but weren’t able to initiate its tracking system.

Birmingham police are investigating.
