Vehicle break-in leaves car damaged

An early morning vehicle break-in on Thursday, December 30, in the 100 block of E. Frank Street, left a vehicle damaged and several items missing, police said.


Birmingham police on Thursday morning, December 30, spoke to a 33-year-old Birmingham resident who told officers he went to his vehicle that morning and found a rear window smashed. The vehicle’s dashboard navigation system, a laptop computer and an iPad were also missing.


Police said a witness reported hearing a loud noise at 2:30 a.m.


The incident is under investigation.
