Vehicle flees scene of serious injury crash

The Bloomfield Township Police Department is investigating a serious injury crash which occurred in the area of Telegraph Road and West Maple Road on Thursday, September 26, at approximately 10:29 a.m. and involved a vehicle which fled the scene.


The crash involved a 2007 Harley Davidson driven by a 65-year-old resident of Auburn Hills and an unknown white SUV. The white SUV did not remain on scene. The driver of the Harley Davidson was transported to Corewell William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak with critical injuries.


The crash is under currently investigation by the Bloomfield Township Police Department with assistance from members of the South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team.


Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or can provide additional information regarding the white SUV is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755 and request to speak with a member of the department’s Traffic Investigation Unit.
