Vehicle rummage through during night time

A Birmingham resident discovered his vehicle had been rummaged through during the overnight hours of Sunday, November 7, although only change was missing.

An officer was dispatched to the home in the 600 block of Vinewood Avenue around 4 p.m. for a larceny from auto report. The victim, a 55 year old resident, reported that his vehicle had been rummaged through overnight. He said it appeared nothing was missing from the car except an unknown amount of change.

Birmingham police said there are no suspects or witnesses at this time, although they believe this incident is connected to another one which occurred nearby.

An investigation is ongoing.
