Vehicles rummaged through on Bates Street

A 66-year-old Birmingham resident filed a larceny from auto report with the Birmingham police department on Wednesday, January 18, after her vehicle had been rummaged through.


The victim stated that her vehicle, which was unlocked at the time, had been searched through early on Wednesday, January 11. She also reported that several neighbors, all living around the 600 block of Bates Street, also had their cars rummaged through at that time.


The police report did not indicate if any items were actually stolen from the vehicle.


Birmingham police report there are no witnesses or suspects at this time.
