A woman from Detroit had her wallet stolen from inside her purse on Friday, December 15, while she was shopping inside of a store in the 2000 block of E. Maple in Birmingham.
Witnesses reported seeing a male with dark hair and wearing a face mask following the woman around the store and later taking something from her purse.
Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
