Wallet stolen from home under construction

While a Birmingham resident was staying in Mexico during the time her home was being renovated, a wallet containing a credit card was stolen from inside of her home and used by the perpetrator.

The resident came in and reported to Birmingham police on Monday, January 22, that the wallet had been taken and that there had been fraudulent charges made on her credit card. Reportedly, witnesses identified a man using the card to make the purchases.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
