Wallet stolen from inside unlocked car

While his car was parked near South Old Woodward and East Brown Streets in downtown Birmingham on Thursday, June 6, a Sylvan Lake resident had his wallet stolen from inside his unlocked car around 10 p.m.


The man filed a report with Birmingham police after he started getting alerts that his debit and credit cards were being used. He ended up freezing his cards. 


Birmingham police said an investigation is ongoing.
