Wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle

A 57-year-old Southfield woman was the victim of theft on Saturday, April 2, while her vehicle was parked in the 800 block of S. Adams, Birmingham police said.


Police said the victim came to the Birmingham police station to report the theft of her wallet from her unlocked vehicle. The victim told officers she was at an appointment when she believes someone entered the unlocked vehicle and stole her wallet.


The loss was valued at $600.


Birmingham police are investigating.
