Wallet stolen from vehicle in Birmingham

A Birmingham resident reported that her wallet had been stolen from her purse which had been left inside her locked vehicle on Friday, September 23.


Officers were dispatched to the homeowner's residence in the 100 block of Southlawn Boulevard, where the victim, a 39-year old female, stated her vehicle’s console and purse had been disturbed, and that her wallet was now missing.


Officers determined there was no damage to the exterior or interior of the vehicle.


Birmingham police state there are no witnesses or suspects at this time. They are continuing to investigate.
