Wine bottles stolen from Birmingham business

An investigation into the theft of two wine bottles from a business located at the 500 block of S. Old Woodward in Birmingham is underway, according to Birmingham police.


The Birmingham Police Department reported that on Wednesday, December 27, around 4 p.m., a suspect walked into the business and took two bottles of wine without paying. The bottles were worth roughly $1,900, according to the police report.


According to police, the suspect was identified as a 65-year-old man from Detroit.


Birmingham police are continuing to pursue leads in their investigation.
