Woman arrested in Birmingham on warrant

After being pulled over for running a red traffic light, a Romulus woman was arrested in Birmingham on a warrant out of the Royal Oak Police Department.


According to Birmingham police, the arrest took place on Tuesday, June 10, at roughly 9 p.m. Patrol officers saw the woman run the light near 14 Mile and Woodward Avenue, initiated the traffic stop then found out about the arrest warrant.


The woman was later transferred to the Royal Oak Police Department, Birmingham police said.
