Woman arrested in home invasion attempt

A Detroit woman was arrested in Birmingham the morning of Monday, June 8, as a suspect in an attempted home invasion that took place in the 1000 block of Stanley. 


Birmingham police reported that the victim called, saying the woman was trying to pick the lock on her back door and an unknown car was parked in her driveway. Officers reported arriving while the suspect was standing in the driveway, claiming that the home was hers.


Birmingham police reported the woman was placed under arrest following their investigation.
