A woman was arrested while attempting to leave the Peabody Street parking garage in Birmingham the night of Friday, October 2, after reportedly driving away from police officers trying to stop her, hitting another car and having nitrous oxide canisters in her car.

According to Birmingham police, someone reported a suspicious person near the parking garage, and when they arrived, they saw the woman trying to leave the structure in a car. She allegedly drove away from the officers only to get caught in traffic, allowing the officers to block her in.

She reportedly kept trying to leave, causing her to hit another car, and was subsequently arrested.
