A Mount Clemens woman is being accused of assault after her coworker reported that she punched her multiple times the night of Saturday, June 13, after a shift.

The victim reported that she left work with several co-workers and went to a restaurant, noticing that her co-worker was heading to the same place. She stated that the coworker asked to talk to her privately once the group sat down, saying that the conversation got heated before the other woman punched her.

Birmingham police officers reported they weren’t able to talk with the alleged assailant, but an investigation is ongoing.
