Woman discovers man in her car

Birmingham police are investigating an attempted theft that occurred about 1 a.m. on Sunday, January 10, in the 900 block of Pleasant Avenue where the victim discovered a man in her car.

Police said the victim told police she saw someone inside her vehicle. Upon opening the garage, she said she saw a man who was in his early 20s with brown hair, and wearing a gray and white jacket, gray sweatpants and white shoes.

The man fled the area in an unknown location.

Birmingham police are investigating.
