A Detroit woman with warrants out for her arrest from three cities was caught and arrested in Birmingham the night of Wednesday, October 1, after being pulled over for driving without a license plate.

Birmingham police reported that they pulled the woman over on southbound Woodward near Bird Street, and when they asked her for her ID, she said she had forgotten it. She also reportedly gave police incorrect personal information until they were eventually able to identify her and discover her warrants.

The woman was wanted in Troy, Hazel Park and Westland for charges that included narcotic possession and failure to appear in court.

Birmingham police arrested and cited her for obstructing police, failing to have a driver’s license and no plate on her vehicle. She was then transferred to the Troy Police Department, they reported.
