Woman flees township sports store with goods

Bloomfield Township police are looking for a woman responsible tor stealing a shopping cart full of merchandise from a local sporting goods store.


Police responded about 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, to DICK’s Sporting Goods, 2105 Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Township, for a retail fraud complaint. Officers spoke with a manager who told them a woman fled the store with a shopping cart full of unidentified items.


She was described as a female with blond hair, about 25-years-old and wearing a black coat and white cap. She was observed leaving in a small silver SUV-type vehicle.


Investigators ask anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 247.433.7755.
