An employee of a Birmingham clothing store near the 100 block of S. Old Woodward alleges that shortly after opening the store on Saturday, May 31, a woman came in, grabbed several items and went into the changing rooms, then later ran out of the store with the items.

The employee told Birmingham police that the clothes the woman stole were worth about $2,228. Birmingham police say an investigation is ongoing.
