Woman’s checkbooks and wallet missing

A Birmingham resident living in the 1700 block of Torry Street appeared to be having a bout of bad luck on Wednesday, January 31, after realizing her wallet containing two checkbooks was missing.

The resident reported the matter to police who deemed the circumstances “suspicious” in their report.

Birmingham police stated an investigation is ongoing.
