Woman steals comforter set from store

A woman shopping At Home in Bloomfield Township decided to take a bedding set home without paying for it.

At 4 p.m. on Friday, May 19, a woman selected a three-piece comforter set valued at $109.99 while shopping At Home, located at 2101 S. Telegraph Road, then left without attempting to pay for the merchandise.

Bloomfield Township police were called to At Home after the suspect left. Employees at the store described her as a black female who was wearing dark clothing when she entered the store.

The suspect was seen leaving the area in a maroon Chrysler.

Bloomfield Township police ask that anyone with information call them at 248.433.7755.
