Woman suspected of drug use in changing room

A woman from Detroit was reported to Birmingham police on Monday, May 19, after an employee of the clothing store she was in thought she was using drugs in one of the fitting rooms.

Birmingham police reported that the woman denied using any drugs but was subsequently arrested by officers who found there was a warrant issued for her arrest.

According to police, the woman had to later be taken to the hospital as she was going through withdrawals and was later transferred to the Oakland County Jail.

The name of a local business is never provided by Birmingham police.
