Woman walks out of Carl's Golfland with hoodie

Over $100 worth of merchandise was stolen on Saturday, December 2, from Carl’s Golfland on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township.

The next day, Bloomfield Township police were dispatched to the store, where staff told police that the night prior a white woman in her 40s placed a Nike hoodie – valued at $104 – into her purse.

Once she approached the counter she removed the hoodie, along with two shirts, from her purse and asked to return them.

After staff questioned the suspect, and began to review security surveillance, she said she had to go to her car, then left with the merchandise.

The case is being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit.
