Women dine and dash at Churchill's

Birmingham police were called to Churchill's Wine and Cigar Bar Bistro, 116 S. Old Woodward, around 8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, on a report of three females leaving without paying for their supper.

Officers caught up with the three women in the area of Merrill and Pierce streets, where the women told officers they had been dining with several men and thought the bill had been paid.

Churchill's and the three females came to an agreement to reduce the bill to only the items which the females had consumed, and which they then paid.
