A group of four women was spotted running out of a retail store on the 100 block of S. Old Woodward in Birmingham the morning of Monday, October 6, carrying a bunch of stolen clothing.

The person reporting the theft told Birmingham police that the group entered the store, refused assistance from the staff and fled shortly after with armfuls of clothing that hadn’t been purchased. A male suspect is also reportedly thought to be involved as he entered the store with the women.

Birmingham police reported that witnesses saw the group getting into an SUV parked near the store. And they are investigating the incident, they stated.
