A Bloomfield Hills man died on Tuesday, September 24, from injuries he received in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck at Wabeek Drive and Long Lake Road in Bloomfield Township. Bloomfield Township police said the man, 76, was driving south about 10:40 a.m. along Wabeek Drive when his 2008 Mercedes Benz collided with a Peterbilt dump truck that was traveling west on Long Lake Road. The crash caused the dump truck to roll onto its side before striking a telephone pole.
