Suspicious envelope sent to county GOP office

Bloomfield Hollow banquet hall plan put on hold
A proposal for Bloomfield Hollow, a 15,815-square-foot event center on a vacant 18-acre parcel located west of Franklin Road and north of Square Lake Road in Bloomfield Township, was put on hold Monday, February 16, by the township planning commission which failed to approve an amendment to a zoning ordinance that would have allowed the project.

Bloomfield Township home invasion attempted
The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Tuesday, February 10, responded to the 2900 block of Meadowood Lane for a possible home invasion. The homeowner reported that at approximately 1:40 p.m. they received an alarm for the garage service door. The homeowner canceled the alarm with the alarm company prior to police dispatch.
