Eight vehicles targeted by thieves overnight
The Bloomfield Township Police Department took five reports of larceny from automobiles throughout the township from December 4 through December 5. In total, police said, eight vehicles were entered and personal property, purses, computers, and shopping bags full of items were stolen. Nike jacket stolen from residential mailbox
A package was stolen from a residential mailbox in the 600 block of Wilshire Drive in Bloomfield Township on Saturday, December 6. Bloomfield Township police took a report for a larceny of mail, with the victim saying that between 4:20 p.m. and 7 p.m., a Macy’s package with a Nike jacket was delivered and stolen from his mailbox. Bag of baseball equipment goes missing
Over $1,600 worth of baseball equipment was reportedly stolen from a Birmingham resident’s car sometime between Monday, November 17, and Monday, November 24, while it was parked in the driveway of her home on the 1200 block of Shipman Blvd. The resident reported the theft to police on Tuesday, November 25, saying that the car was unlocked.
