Hunter House moving to new Woodward site
One of Birmingham’s iconic businesses – Hunter House Hamburgers – will soon be moving from its original location at 35075 Woodward Avenue to the former home of a KFC at 33900 Woodward. A caller posing as an Oakland County Sheriff’s Office employee scammed a Birmingham woman out of nearly $1,300 after claiming she had multiple misdemeanor warrants issued for her arrest. License plate stolen from auto on Telegraph
Bloomfield Township police were notified on Thursday, October 16, that someone stole a license plate from an auto in the 6700 block of Telegraph Road. The victim reported that the license plate on his 2007 Chrysler Town and Country was stolen between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. the day prior.. SUV stolen from home driveway on Redding
Early in the morning of Monday, October 20, an SUV was stolen from the driveway of a Birmingham home on the 1800 block of Redding. The SUV fled from Birmingham police officers near southbound Woodward and 14 Mile, but officers were able to identify the owners based on the registration.
