Scuffle at 220 Merrill Street bar in city
A 32-year-old Lincoln Park man was arrested in Birmingham around midnight on Saturday, October 18, at 220 Merrill after becoming aggressive with security guards and causing a scuffle. Man arrested at restaurant for assault/battery
A verbal argument at a Birmingham restaurant on the 33700 block of Woodward Avenue on Saturday, October 18, ended with a Waterford man being arrested for assault and battery. Birmingham police reported that the man pushed and hit another man in the face whilst the restaurant after the argument, then tried to run. He was subsequently arrested when police arrived. Sephora hit with theft of over $1,800 in goods
Employees at Sephora, 6520 Telegraph Road, in Bloomfield Township have reported that two unknown females entered the store and stole several items by concealing them in purses and on their person on Tuesday, October 21. Attempted break-in at Pleasant Ave home
Birmingham police are investigating a potential breaking and entering of a home on the 700 block of Pleasant Avenue. The homeowners allege that they left their home in the early afternoon for a few hours on Monday, October 20, only to return and find signs that someone had attempted to break in. According to Birmingham police, officers noticed pry marks near one of the doors, but the residents believed nothing was stolen from the house.
