Cash stolen from parked car by men in ski masks

Several items worth $250 were taken from the car of a resident living in the 100 block of Lincoln Street in Birmingham on Friday, May 27, police reported.


The victim, a 55-year-old female resident, reported that several items had been stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. A witness reported seeing three unidentified males wearing dark pants, gray hoodies and black ski masks enter and rummage through the vehicle before leaving the area on foot around 4:45 a.m.


The value of the items taken from the vehicle is approximately $250.


Birmingham police said there are no additional witnesses at this time, but there were several similar reports in the area.
