Women brawl on street after car collision

A car collision in Birmingham in the morning of Friday, December 20, led two women to brawl on Frank Street, near Pierce Street, in Birmingham, with both women walking away with citations for disorderly conduct

Birmingham police reported that the initial collision between the cars took place because of icy roads. One of the women, a 25-year-old from Clawson, said the ice caused her to slide into the back of the other woman’s car. They both got out of their cars and began fighting in the street, police said.

When police arrived and broke the pair up, the 25-year-old alleged the other woman, a 36-year-old from Detroit, grabbed her hair and punched her. The 36-year-old alleged the other woman spit at her and bit her finger.

Birmingham police reported that both were issued citations for disorderly conduct, and the 25-year-old was given an additional ticket for failure to stop within an assured clear distance ahead.
