Two individuals, one being a 16-year-old from Detroit, were stopped by police in Birmingham on Wednesday, November 19, after allegedly stealing merchandise from a clothing store on the 100 block of S. Old Woodward. A store employee told Birmingham police officers that the pair was carrying a large bag and they were seen heading into the changing rooms with various items. Solicitor cited for not having city permit
A man trying to sell magazines door-to-door near the area of Yorkshire and Adams Road the afternoon of Monday, November 24, was issued a citation by Birmingham police for soliciting without a permit. The man had reportedly been told in August and October he was not allowed to solicit without a permit after he had been reported to police.

Man being investigated for alleged retail theft
A Detroit man, currently being monitored by the Troy Police Department, is being investigated by Birmingham police for an alleged theft on Monday, November 24, from a clothing store at the 100 block of S.
